internet users who use internet services or Telkom Speedy ISP (Internet Service Provicer) even though Telkom Indihome services already exist. Telkom Speedy is an ADSL-based internet service (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line), which is one of the DSL technologies using telephone lines using copper cables. ADSL base is asymmetric so that the transferred data is different from the download (Down stream) and Upload (Upstream) speeds. In addition, speed and stability are also determined by the speedy DNS server that is used.

Fast and Stable Speedy DNS Server

Sometimes the Telkom speedy DNS server does not respond, resulting in a long delay before the webpage is loaded. Thus, if the loading speed of a webpage is not as expected (slow), this might be related to the condition of a speedy DNS server that is unstable or has interference.

The network administrator or ISP Speedy has set the DNS server according to the service area and may have been configured to provide automatic discovery of DNS services, without requiring the customer to enter the DNS server address manually on the computer.

However, the first server on the list may not respond so that there is a delay and try the next DNS server in the other list, which finally happens the computer will wait. If the address is incorrectly responded, "timeout" will appear before the automatic discovery is successful.

For that there is no harm in speedy internet connection can be fast and stable, namely by changing the standard server with other DNS servers both from Telkom itself and DNS servers from other parties. But keep in mind that the speed depends on the package selected. Do not expect, for example, using a speedy 1 Mbps service will be fast like a 3 mbps service after changing DNS servers.
